Turning Point is a faith-based ministry serving the greater Binghamton area. We are located at Harmony Hill Ranch. Turning Point offers a welcoming place to grow mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically...using the horse. The horse-human bond is a God-given gift, uniquely suitable to touching the needs of people in a special way. We offer several different horsemanship programs for youth, schools, clubs and organizations. People going through life changing experiences such as divorce, job change, tramua, or loss of a loved one can learn, grow and heal through interacting with our faithful horses and our staff.
Equine Educational Learning Series--Youth focused non-riding program is design to promote creative problem solving ideas while interacting as a group to achieve certain tasks. Our goal is to encourage each person to grow in levels of personal responsibility, communication, confidence, all through their interactions with horses. These interactions will emphasize the development of good character, sound personal values, and lasting life skills. Series usually run 6-weeks or more.
Lessons of Life and Leadership-- this is a non-riding group program for everyone wanting to strengthen their team building skills. Whether a school/club, church, or work-related group, all individuals can develop their leadership, confidence, communication skills. Groups will be encouraged to overcome obstacles. Through our program your group will learn creative problem solve new ways of relating to each other while applying this to current life/work situations.
